TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Bringing a broad and hands-on background in education, including volunteering, classroom observation, pre-service training and student teaching. Experience spans coaching roles and full classroom teaching across diverse school settings. Passionate about enriching learning beyond the curriculum through the design and delivery of after-school clubs, weekend workshops, school-wide activities and dynamic summer art camps.
Subjects and media taught include: drawing, painting, ceramics, jewellery and metals, graphic design, mixed media, printmaking, and textiles, spanning primary to upper secondary levels.
The following are some samples of my curriculum design work.  I pride myself on my ability to support a wide range of abilities and learning styles.  I am quickly adaptable to technical programmes, often teaching myself new systems.  I also regularly use data to refine my lessons and improve student outcomes.
Sample Lesson with Adaptations

This secondary typography lesson is fully differentiated to meet students’ varying skills and prior knowledge. Support is individually tailored through instruction, collaborative tasks, self-assessment, and structured feedback. Every learner has equitable access to the curriculum, but engages in ways that suit their individual needs and strengths.

Consistent assessment ensures all learners meet expected standards.  When standards have not been met, they are revisited in a new way.  Lessons build on each other without leaving students behind.
